Picked up a lathe today

I went to a estate sale this morning, found this Myford ML8 wood lathe. I doubt these are found much around here, English made. I found most of the parts, no face [Image: 20190824_134953-L.jpg]

Semi-bummer.  it's a 1" X 12 WHITWORTH thread.   http://www.peterchild.co.uk/chucks/threads.htm
Time to learn to tap 3/4 Faceplates, if you find a tap.
Wonderful lathe, BTW.  Turned on one many moons ago.

I may take another trip up to this sale tomorrow, maybe some more pieces will turn up. If need be, both inboard and outboard plates are available from the UK for about $55 shipped apiece.

Perhaps you can find or have machined an adapter to screw onto the 1X12 spindle, converting it to a 1X8. I have one for my ONEWAY 2436, bought from ONEWAY. Before I bought the item from ONEWAY, I had one made in a local machine shop. Allowed me to use all my 1X8 accessories.

Actually, the lathe is probably useless to you, so you might as well send it to me for proper burial.
