This is a saw made from a handle Klaus made as one of his last.
The olive wood was a bit to wet and worked. a little crack at the lambs tonguze appeared.
Klaus closed it with super glue, but it is visible. So Klaus abandonded the handle and gave it to mee with all the wood and tools in 2019.
Last weekend I made a saw of it because the handle is too nice to be firewood. But the wood has moved a bit more in the mean time.
The cerve for the blad has closed. I had to saw it open. And widen the slot for the spine. Another crack appeared, but I closed it, too.
Du to the wood movement, the slots and cerve became uncoplanar. Causeses a light ogee curve.
Now she sit on the shelf and looks for someone to give her a home..
Cheers Pedder
