Lets see how this goes......

Up for sale is a Lie Nielsen shooting plane.
Price is $350. Condition is good. Reason I'm not saying excellent is there are some spots of discoloration on the base. Otherwise, I've used it very little.
Still in its original box.
Only bad part about this is I'm in Hawaii and shipping will be higher than in the CONUS. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance from ZIP code 96720, Hilo.

Payment via PayPal.

Be still my heart. Why are you getting rid of this?

FYI, if the handle is removed, it should fit in a medium Flat Rate box for $15.05 shipping charge (yes, I've looked it up and and am doing my best not to say "I'll take it"
Laugh )
"73 is the best number because it's the 21st prime number, and it's mirror 37 is the 12th prime number, whose mirror 21 is the product of 7 times 3. Also in binary 73 is 1001001, which is a palindrome." - Nobel Laureate, Dr. Sheldon Cooper

But you need to box it came in too.  Not trying to enable or anything.

Lie Nielsen

Stanley first made its version in 1909. We redesigned the body casting to utilize our standard 2-3/8" Bench Plane Blade and Frog with the Bedrock adjustment.
  • Just over 9 lbs (heavier than the original.)

  • 15" long x 3-9/16" wide.

  • Shoulder height of 2-1/8".

  • Available in Left and Right Hand versions.
Even the large won't fit, you'd have to jump up to a game board box and even then the crate won't fit, which most people want for or in case of resale.

The medium side load, diagonally is ~18" inside, plenty of length.

Believe me, I’d love to have it fit in a flat rate box, but Not sure I’d trust the PO with it. The wood box it came in is pretty good packaging.

BTW, are the pictures good enough? Any suggestions are appreciated!

That’s not the medium flat rate then, I have the side load dimensions from the USPS site above and those are the outside dimensions.

When I looked them up on usps.com earlier, I did my calculation on the given inside dimensions - 13.625" x 11.875". The diagonal = 18.07" (SQRT(a^2+b^2))

This is all moot since he has the original wooden box to ship it in which is far superior to the cardboard flat rate box.

But, all this cypherin' has kept the post at the top for 8fingers
