The Great Alaskan Bowl Co.: More Than Just Wooden Bowls
Great story, Dom, thanks for posting it.

I really enjoyed this!!
Very nice and Interesting read. Thanx
I forgot all about him. I seen him once back in 86 when I was stationed at Elmendorf AFB from 83 to 87. Really nice guy.

bump for retention.

surprised to see that the oldest thread up in Woodworking is from 11/14.
Threads expire after 365 days. But the date is determined by the last post. There are other bumped posts in this and other forums that date several years back. Neal Addy's photograph tips thread is one example.

If that is true, then every single thread in Woodworking that would have had its last post between 8/9/14 and 11/3/14 has been bumped.

I know that the 365 days is how it is supposed to work up here, but every so often the software decides to shorten that retention until someone steps in and fixes it.
WoodNet date format is DD/MM/YY. Not like we're used to seeing as MM/DD/YY.

That is a Display option in each member's config.
The above is how your post looks to me (including header).
