I went to a place called "Hardware Lumber Maui" about 7 years ago while on vacation. Looks like they're still open. They have lumber in the rough like koa and mango for sale. I couldn't imagine how I'd get those boards home so I bought some koa veneer.

Recall what area of the island it was in Paul?
We whack it down to fit into a suitcase, but shipping is not terrible for boards from Hawaii to the left coast here.

Hardware Lumber Maui, Alua Street, Wailuku, HI
That's the address.
It's a few miles west of the airport and a few blocks from the ocean.
