Lee Valley describes the tools as follows: "The relatively short blades (about 1") let you get your hands close to the work, while the uniquely shaped handle can be held like a pencil, or with the flared butt in your palm. Last, a single Hirsch 1.0mm Shallow Gouge. German-made, hand forged from high-carbon steel. Cutters is hardened to Rc61 and has a mirror-like polish. Octagonal hornbeam handle is 4" long, the cutter 2.25" long. Tool 6-3/4" long overall. Brand new. $20.00 plus shipping.
