So how do I delete the 70 or more private messages I have accumulated?

Right under the search box on this forum click on private messages , then select the messages you want to delete then to the right of the box marked move to is a box to delete them.   You may have to do a page at a time.  Roly

If you wait long enough, they will self delete.
