Last winter in the comfy confines of my basement shop, I created this gate box
for diverting the water in my yard/garden.  Redwood w/two coats of Thompsons
water seal.  Used to flip a brick and a shovel full of dirt back and forth to do this.
This is just too cool. 






 ....and inspected and certified.

I can tell your inspector doesn't work in our city: there's no folding money tucked in his/her collar.

I can usually get a clean bill for a few peanut butter bisquits

and a couple of rounds of frizby.

To buy an "official" plastic version of this (if you could find it) would probably cost over $100. Way to go!
