How about all of us make a off center turning and post what we did here.

I will get started today or tomorrow.

So far I’ve roughed out 7 Koa and 4 Milo bowls....

Up to that point, I hadn’t been turning in a couple months.mit was nice getting back into it.

How do like turning Milo??  I have a small 2x2 piece of it for 6 years and never got around to turning it.   I do not even know what to make from it unless it is an egg.

Milo turns beautifully, it’s a very fine grained wood and the good stuff is almost black. It also smells good when turning, but it will make you sneeze, so wear some protection. Milo also sells well here, being second only to Koa.
If you do good job sanding, you only need to wax and buff as a finish. It’s an oily wood, so some finishes don’t cure well. CA glue works very well as a finish and polishes great.
