I've made a LOT of pens over the years, several hundred anyway.  From the cheapest early ones to the spendy Craft Supplies 'fancy' ones.  I'm much too picky with fit and finish, and on four different lathes I was always disappointed in the 'fit', particularly with the higher end lines... so I quit making them.

That said, I also made quite a few key rings early on and never had any issues with those.  In fact, both LOML and I have been using the same ones for what must be close to 20 years now.  I'm thinking I might pick up some key ring kits for stocking stuffers.  Is one source better than the others nowadays?  Been five or 6 years since I've done anything.
