I bought one of these cable managament doohickeys to hide my t.v. cables in my wall.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GWG...UTF8&psc=1
It has two receptacles behind the tv and a receptacle at the base of the wall. A double male cable brings power from another receptacle.

Problem is, the lugs for my Roku and Blu-ray player are too big for the receptacle behind the tv.

Can I just put a four receptacle box behind the tv and run wire down to a receptacle at the base? And use the double male cable to bring over power?

Are the "lugs" your talking about the transformers that plug into the outlet ?   If so plug them in down below and just run the cables from them inside the wall to back of tv area.
It is very tight behind the tv mount to have the transformers plugged into something unless it is recessed into the wall.  Roly
