Hi,

I was looking at buying some teak chairs for my lanai as I have a teak table that I purchases 4 years ago. After seeing the price of $549 each I thought I might try to see if I can build them. All my searches show where to buy. I even checked Norm's site as I knew he built some chairs. Has anyone built anything like this? They look simple enough but I'm I always like plans with a material list. The next issue will be to find a supplier.

It looks like pretty simple joinery and all rectangular shapes. Just check some existing chairs (most any will do) for height and width dimensions and work out the rest from there. You don't need plans. Try making a practice chair out of inexpensive lumber first (pine, poplar, etc or even construction grade).
