Toby [/blockquote] Years ago when I watched the baseball movie "The Natural" starring Robert Redford, Redfors told his batbgoy to go get a particular bat--becauuse it had been "boned". I didn't know what that phrase meant at the time, but I have since learned that it meant that somebody had rubbed the bat with a bone to compress the fibers---thus making it harder---thus resulting it a better hit. So, "Foiled" seems to fit. "This saw has been "Foiled" This saw was it bad shaped. But after a good "Foiling" just looked at it now. Honey, I'm going to spend the night in the shop "Foiling". I foiled this saw years ago and it tarnished up again, so I did it again, Yes, this saw has been "Foiled Again". Re: How to polish a saw plate - Timberwolf - 05-17-2013 "If your saw doesn't shine.....FOIL it"!! That has a nice ring to it!!!!!!! I'm IN!!!!! Re: How to polish a saw plate - Gregory of Sherwood Forest - 05-17-2013 Hey Jack, you'll recognize this reference: "FIRE FOR EFFECT!" now you can use, "FOILED FOR EFFECT!" . Re: How to polish a saw plate - Timberwolf - 05-17-2013 I love it, Greg!!!!!!!!! |
