Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - cputnam - 03-12-2016 She did real well! Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - GNP - 03-12-2016 Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - Martin S. - 03-13-2016 Nice work! Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - Window Guy - 03-13-2016 Steve this looks fantastic, you have every right to be proud of hera accomplishment. Great job ! Steve Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - Tony Z - 03-13-2016 Very nice job! I like your/your daughter's use of hinges for the front panel. On the version I built, I'm forever trying to find a spit to lay the panel down. Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - Ray Newman - 03-13-2016 Very nice work. I've thought 'bout constructing one as I like the design, but I do believe that I have too much "stuff" for it. Again very nice work, especially on the dovetails. Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - Arlin Eastman - 03-14-2016 Steve So nice of both of you doing or helping on a project together. I am looking forward to my grandkids doing it in the future. Arlin Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - JustinTyson - 03-14-2016 Wonderful work. She did ya proud Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - Bibliophile 13 - 03-14-2016 Thanks, everybody! She's really pleased with it. (And yes, this is my "newest oldest" daughter.) It was a lot of fun to build together, and I know she learned a lot. I don't know what project she's considering next, but she successfully sold a few of her wooden spoons this weekend, so she's got some good momentum now. It won't be too many years before her skill set surpasses mine. Re: Daughter's Dutch Tool Chest - Justin McCurdy - 03-18-2016 That is really great. My daughter has been begging me to turn, but I want her to learn from someone better than me lest she learn any of my bad habits. |
