RE: DW735 T1 Steel Knife Set - Gregory of Sherwood Forest - 05-05-2017 Brian, I received the DeWalt 735 steel knife set, and I'll be installing them early next week after I return from our MRL soccer trip to Muscatine, IA. Thanks, I'll report my results as they get used. RE: DW735 T1 Steel Knife Set - Tim J. Chase - 05-06-2017 Brian I received the planer blades hope to get them installed over the weekend. I just need to decide on a project to build before I run any wood thru the planer. I'll report back as I have any information. Thanks Tim RE: DW735 T1 Steel Knife Set - Rchan63 - 05-06-2017 Just received mine and will install them asap Thanks again RE: DW735 T1 Steel Knife Set - Gregory of Sherwood Forest - 05-26-2017 Ummm, these things are sharp! sliced my finger almost to the bone while (finally) installing them into my 735. It took forever to get the bleeding to stop and used up quite a bit of CA glue to keep it shut. One was slipping off the bench and I reached to catch it (didn't want to have to tell Brian I chipped a blade, you know ). I saved it, but got a 1 1/2" gash for my quick reflexes... I'll get back to it this weekend, though. Sorry it took so long to get them installed, my son dropped in from college and we are trying to beat each other in golf every morning. I don't get to see him often during the school year, and we try to catch up. Anyone else trying these already? |
