RE: Routerman - Stwood_ - 03-08-2018 I put some of these on my 690 bases. http://www.rockler.com/cam-clamp Maybe cut the head off that bolt. RE: Routerman - Lynden - 03-08-2018 It's interesting that the parts diagram for the PC310 shows both the knob and the lever. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/porter-cable-310-type-laminate-trimmer-parts-c-129_1861_1867.html RE: Routerman - Stwood_ - 03-08-2018 (03-08-2018, 08:58 PM)Lynden Wrote: It's interesting that the parts diagram for the PC310 shows both the knob and the lever. So, you bought a Rockler T-bolt to match to a Rockler clamp - can see the match - does the clamp arm get in the way of using the router? Can you post a pic? Thanks for the suggestion. Dave RE: Routerman - Stwood_ - 03-08-2018 I've got the LV cam clamps also. My rockler seems to be hiding. Routers tend to do that. LV http://www.leevalley.com/us/hardware/page.aspx?p=45034&cat=3,43576,61994,45034 [attachment=8971] [attachment=8972] I used the same T-bolt that is on the pc base. Thanks - will look into that option, too! Dave RE: Routerman - Arlin Eastman - 03-09-2018 All I know is that he was a great guy. He offered to help us vets and I could not think of a way we needed his help at the time since we did not know anything about a router. I should say we still know very little but I did get his video at Woodcraft and that helped a ton. RE: Routerman - srv52761 - 03-10-2018 I was sad to discover his site is off line. Even as he had commercialized it, he had left a lot of information and thoughts on there; extemporaneous stuff not in his books, now lost. RE: Routerman - Stytooner - 03-10-2018 Try the wayback machine. RE: Routerman - Brian in sunny FL - 03-13-2018 (03-10-2018, 07:58 AM)srv52761 Wrote: I was sad to discover his site is off line. Somebody put me in contact with his wife as I was looking to host his content for no financial gain. She was not interested, just wants to move on with her life. |
