Nice table.

My guess: Salt melts snow and that’s what BOM was referring to.

Decking boards and such were called, salt treated.

Nice work and thoughtful design. Congratulations on a project well done.

You might want to do a little research on "breadboard ends" . . . the crossgrain construction on the top banding might eventually become a problem.
