I don't  think so.  I don't remember the brand but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a GE.  Do you want me to ask?  I'll say I was impressed they had customer service people answering the phone on a Saturday evening.  Their tech support concluded he needed  a new board, which had to wait until shops were open Monday for him to get one.

if they had service available at that time it probably wasn't GE

Why not put in a tankless unit or two if needed?
