I thought about buying a Rheem, but I had enough. Although the next one will probably be a heat pump, unless we move. Ours is "energy saving" in that it will turn down the temp on a timer. I should probably figure out how to make that work. I don't think so. I don't remember the brand but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a GE. Do you want me to ask? I'll say I was impressed they had customer service people answering the phone on a Saturday evening. Their tech support concluded he needed a new board, which had to wait until shops were open Monday for him to get one. RE: 80 gallon water tanks now have integrated heat pumps - EricU - 06-28-2018 if they had service available at that time it probably wasn't GE Not that important to me, I don't think I'll buy for the next 10 years or so RE: 80 gallon water tanks now have integrated heat pumps - Cian - 06-28-2018 Timely thread. I'm WAYYY overdue in replacing my water heater. RE: 80 gallon water tanks now have integrated heat pumps - NorthGaMan - 06-29-2018 Why not put in a tankless unit or two if needed? |
