What size/angle?
I use Freud’s Butterfly Spline Bit to cut Spline stock, then cross cut it to length.
This bit is a 14 degree bit, but you can make any size bow tie up to 1-3/4” tall.

Go to YouTube. Search "bowtie keys". Watch a few videos. Use the method that speaks to you best.
