RE: Galvanized pipe clamps - handi - 02-13-2019 I’ve used both galvanized and black iron pipe. Black iron is the way to go. You can buy it in many lengths, threaded both ends, at the borgs for cheap. The big advantage to pipe clamps is that one set of heads can be used on any length pipe and the pipe sections can be easily joined using a coupler. So a few clamps heads with several lengths of pipe become very versatile, and you can quickly create 8’ or longer clamps. Without the need to store such a cumbersome thing between the once every few years use. RE: Galvanized pipe clamps - Lumber Yard® - 02-13-2019 I've also used both black and galvis...
