I suspect that Stanley would be similar. RE: Need advise on a Miter box - stav - 03-11-2020 I had the Hempe style one once. I couldn't get the blade to tension enough to not flex in the cut. Maybe I had a bad one or possibly my technique needs work but that was my experience with it.
