RE: Electric Golf Carts - barnowl - 06-12-2020 How old are the batteries? I used to have a battery load tester, but it finally died on me. I never replaced it. A multimeter is OK just for static charge, but won't indicate anything worthwhile about capacity under load. RE: Electric Golf Carts - Roly - 06-14-2020 Take a good look at the charger, apparently there have been problems involving a relay or a circuit board in the charger on that model. Roly RE: Electric Golf Carts - crokett™ - 06-15-2020 He has two problems. Well 1 now. First he had a loose connection between batteries. Second he has a bad battery. The two don't appear related as the loose connection wasn't on the bad battery. Testing end to end at first got no voltage, so we went through and figured out where the voltage stopped. After we tightened everything down, end to end was reading 32V. We found a battery that is only putting out 2V. I don't know how old the batteries are, but they don't look new. |
