Dennis @ Hooked On Wood has a interesting bench. It sort of like a Cosman bench but modified to not use the expensive bench vises.

Another interesting approach. It looks like he uses the same laminated plywood construction. I have never seen the full color MDF he uses.

It’s available in the USA. There are companies that will sell you cut sizes or whole sheets to businesses and hobbyists.
