RE: Tying In A Sprinkler Line - blackhat - 08-03-2022 Is the pump itself in the well or the crawl space? Is there a check valve at the pressure tank? If so, coming off before the check valve won’t work. If the check is down the well and you are after the pump, no problem. RE: Tying In A Sprinkler Line - crokett™ - 08-03-2022 The pump is in the well. I don't think there's a check valve at the pressure tank. That's not typically done here, but I can check. FWIW, after we moved in I replaced the spigot at the well with one that you can hook a garden hose to. I use it occasionally without problems. RE: Tying In A Sprinkler Line - meackerman - 08-03-2022 definitely need to tie in after the check valves. mine has two, one in the well and one that's above ground. not sure why it has two, but the well guy, when he replaced my pump, left it that way. |
