RE: I need some good advise please on a DC - MichaelMouse - 12-21-2016 Adequate is the criterion. One "heavy" pickup like a planer, two medium like TS and drum sander is adequate. I consider a "cyclone" almost a necessity. No need to beat up the impeller with small pieces of wood. If you're lazy, you may find yourself with a floor sweep someday. Think this one, or similar is in the other thread. If you're willing to lay out a grand, it's a great candidate. https://bisjettools.com/717515-jet-jcdc-1-5-cyclone-dust-collector.html?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=JetTools%20Shopping&utm_term=1101012327539&utm_content=All%20Jet RE: I need some good advise please on a DC - Arlin Eastman - 12-21-2016 Packerguy Thank you for looking it up and I agree it will work. MM That is a very nice set up and thank you for helping. That one is a small footprint and has enough cfm to work and keep my shop clean. With everyones help I will go with the 2hp. This is the one I just bought, used, supposedly like new, for $250. |
