Nice job on the project. Really preserves the character of the reclaimed wood.
I am happy to report of a positive turn on a salvage project across the road from my house. a new development is going in and the original log cabin is still mostly intact on the property. The developer had no intention of preserving it. He just wanted it gone. I helped arrange a meeting with a contact I have who deals with reclaimed wood. A deal was made and he starts disassembly next month.
The cabin had a later add on and a rebuild of the roof, but the original wall are still standing on the stacked rock foundation. The house was sealed with the local red clay soil.
