RE: Top-Notch Plywood Blade? - Brian in sunny FL - 02-09-2021 Like others have said the 10" 80T Hi-ATB blades are the ones to buy. Being the splintering usually happens when the blade exits on the bottom size a zero clearance insert as mentioned as well helps. I have had success with my old trusty Ridge 10" 40T general purpose blade by raising it up a tad then scoring the bottom and then running again full pass. Granted not the fastest way and I wasn't building furniture but scoring did eliminate the splintering on the bottom side. Thats why the large panel saws usually have a scoring blade.
