Yes, has to be rotated. I never had a problem doing that.

The only circle saw next size up that will make one cut through a 6x6 is a 14"-16" RAS. Those can be picked up dirt cheap, discarded from the older lumber yards. 3PH.....

When I build a bigger shop a 14-16" RAS will be added, but I got rid of my Dewalt 1030 last year due to space limitations...and because this SCMS can cut deeper.
