Will you fill the beetle holes in the top so it's smooth or leave it natural?

They're filled with Starbond brown medium CA.

Test fit of the braces is good.  Tenons are glued into the column, feet, and supports.  Braces will be attached with draw bore pins.

It's a 1951 Uni.  Paid more than I really should have, but I wanted that cast iron cover!

Final test fit is good!  Next up, finish marking for draw bore pins, assemble, and finish. 

My shop buddy, Alphie, approves.
