Here's one of the first saws I ever made (about 20 years ago now!) and the last 4 I will do: The last two were made using parts kits Dominic was selling here. The support from the folks right here on this forum was most of my inspiration for tool-making. Cian especially. Beautiful saws and meant to be used...I remember the jig you made for folding the brass backs..something that no other maker was doing at the time..I also remember the discussion on the forum in regards to slotted vs folded backs...I am still in the "folded" camp... It was mostly you (and Mike Wenzloff) , who inspired me to start saw making. (And if it weren't for Klaus design skills, I would still make ugly saws.....) Still miss your article about sawmaking! And I would love to have a saw made by you with this signature bulb in the middle of the handle.
