[attachment=3212] Spread out the newspaper, and tried to fit this fat body all around the desk, with a varnish brush in hand [attachment=3213] What I had thought was Cherry, turned out to be mainly Curly Maple.... [attachment=3214] Yes, I even varnished under the hood..er..lid.. [attachment=3215] So..have since rubbed it done with 0000 steel wool, will wipe it off with a tack rag, before I apply coat #2 tomorrow.
