That is a combination I have yet to explore or seen discussed.

Are you going to drawbore both sides?

Otherwise, how would it work?

Re: Drawbore AND Loose Tennons - AHill - 08-08-2015

I am thinking you'd have to drawbore both sides, and I'm also thinking that is a recipe for splitting your tenon. I'd consider pinning it from both sides, but only after you glue and clamp it in.

You could glue the tenons into the stretchers and let it dry, then drawbore the legs (assuming your building a table ) it will definitely slow your build time.

I often drawbore one side of a domino and glue the other. There is no problem drawboeing both sides. The reason I drawbore is to make it knockdown or at least possible to dissemble and move.

If draw boring, why not make it easy and do with Miller Dowels?

While not really draw boring, I often pin nail both sides of my dominoes
