Drawbore AND Loose Tennons - AgGEM - 08-08-2015 That is a combination I have yet to explore or seen discussed. Thoughts and comments? Ag Re: Drawbore AND Loose Tennons - Martin S. - 08-08-2015 Are you going to drawbore both sides? Otherwise, how would it work? Re: Drawbore AND Loose Tennons - AHill - 08-08-2015 I am thinking you'd have to drawbore both sides, and I'm also thinking that is a recipe for splitting your tenon. I'd consider pinning it from both sides, but only after you glue and clamp it in. Re: Drawbore AND Loose Tennons - Mike L B - 08-08-2015 You could glue the tenons into the stretchers and let it dry, then drawbore the legs (assuming your building a table ) it will definitely slow your build time. Re: Drawbore AND Loose Tennons - JR1 - 08-09-2015 I often drawbore one side of a domino and glue the other. There is no problem drawboeing both sides. The reason I drawbore is to make it knockdown or at least possible to dissemble and move. Re: Drawbore AND Loose Tennons - Tony Z - 08-09-2015 If draw boring, why not make it easy and do with Miller Dowels? Re: Drawbore AND Loose Tennons - AgGEM - 08-09-2015 Op here, thanks for the replies! Ag Re: Drawbore AND Loose Tennons - jussi - 08-09-2015 While not really draw boring, I often pin nail both sides of my dominoes |
