a little turning fun - Woodshop - 09-01-2015 well more gluing than turning years ago I made shift knobs for my 1967 international tractor. I decided to do a steering wheel cap over the week end.(plastic one long gone) I still need to sand it and give it 2 more coats of polly. Made of maple ,walnut and bloodwood What ya think Re: a little turning fun - jerickson - 09-01-2015 Very cool! Re: a little turning fun - chips ahoy - 09-01-2015 Love it, great job. Every truck I drove was an International, would have loved to have one as my gear shift knob, of course I would take it with me when I traded trucks. Mel Re: a little turning fun - pinky - 09-01-2015 love it ! Re: a little turning fun - Arlin Eastman - 09-01-2015 Someday I will get as good as you on making stuff like that. I think you did a spot on job. Arlin Re: a little turning fun - badwhiskey - 09-01-2015 Very well thought out and executed project. Re: a little turning fun - Steve K - 09-01-2015 Nicely done! Having spent the majority of my working life at IH/Navistar I especially like those. Re: a little turning fun - gad5264 - 09-02-2015 I would run in the ditch from stairing at the center cap on the steering wheel all the time. Very nice. |
