Cutting tiny wedges? - Aram - 09-07-2015 I'm making wedged tenons, and need 4 wedges. I've done this before, but never so small: 1/4" tenon thickness, and 3/8" length. Any thoughts on best methods? Thanks! Re: Cutting tiny wedges? - JGrout - 09-07-2015 bandsaw cut them from 4/4 about a third longer than you need then split them in two pieces drive them home remove the excess Re: Cutting tiny wedges? - Gary G™ - 09-07-2015 Handsaw, bandsaw, or even a scroll saw. Re: Cutting tiny wedges? - YSU65 - 09-07-2015 If you have a tenon jig, tilt it and cut them on the TS. Re: Cutting tiny wedges? - Aram - 09-07-2015 Thanks, everyone. |
