Jointer's getting a new coat of gray paint. - Wild Turkey - 01-03-2016 Bought an 8" Rockwell Delta jointer last year and just now am getting around to finishing getting all the paint off it -- in addition to the factory gray it had layers of light green, dark green, light blue and off-white latex all over it. Wish I had taken a good pix before I started Must have been in a school shop to get that much paint over the years Even had paint over the data tags so I'm not sure of the model. Looks a lot like this one: Gonna put a Byrd head on it. Then I'll be out of excuses not to build somethin Here's a close-up to show how bad it was Re: Jointer's getting a new coat of gray paint. - MarkSingleton - 01-03-2016 I am a big fan of machinery being painted "machinery gray." He said, though his last two tool purchases were Ridgid orange. Blech. |
