yankee push drill - unpushing? - mdhills - 01-04-2016 What is recommended way to back the bit out of the wood after drilling? I picked up a handyman version of this from a garage sale earlier this year. My son likes it, but the bit tends to get stuck in the hole he just drilled in pine -- seems like it takes a pretty big tug from an adult to get out. Thanks, Matt Re: yankee push drill - unpushing? - DaveParkis - 01-04-2016 Some of them have a reverse setting. I put mine in reverse and give it a push or two. Re: yankee push drill - unpushing? - JClark - 01-04-2016 Rub some wax on the bit. Works like a charm for my pushdrills. Re: yankee push drill - unpushing? - Bill_Houghton - 01-04-2016 Twist as you pull back. |
