Here is a project I made that combined various techniques. A dragon puppet. Boxelder, maple, cherry. Tung oil finish.

As I put together the dragon, I actually did not want to give it away (I made it for a 5 y.o. child whose father passed away when he was less than 2. I have been making him one wooden toy each Christmas since as I was close friends with his father). Having shown it to family, I now have to make six more. I'll get there. :-)
