My Son at the Fleamarket - Downwindtracker2 - 03-14-2016 I bumped into my son rust hunting at the fleamarket. He had picked up a couple of Stanley planes, #113 circular and a # 8 jointer . Get this, he had his wife packing them! He had paid $25 each for them. I found a dainty 6" plain sleeve (no ratchet) no-name brace in need of wood and a very nice little Millers Fall #77A hand drill. Re: My Son at the Fleamarket - Bill_Houghton - 03-14-2016 Nice gets by your son, great prices; and what a noble wife, to carry those things for him (No. 8s are NOT light), so that he could whip out his wallet faster if he found more screaming deals. Cheers Pedder Re: My Son at the Fleamarket - Downwindtracker2 - 03-14-2016 Having a son who rust hunts should give you a clue to my age, much too old for computer skills. Besides I'm not sure I could have gotten a photo of his pretty wife packing the #8. As much as we like tool porn, the #113,#8, or the Millers Fall #77A simply don't rate pictures however I wish I could for the 6" brace. The chuck shell with it's octagon head as with the jaws might have suggested a maker. I know I have seen one somewhere, this getting old, but I couldn't find one on the net. |
