Handworks 2016 - oarlock - 04-02-2016 I see that the Cedar Rapids, IA tourist flier has Handworks listed. According to the flier the venue is the same but the dates are May 15th & 16th which is Sunday and Monday ![]() ![]() Re: Handworks 2016 - joemac - 04-02-2016 Handworks occurred in 2013 and 2015. While I haven't heard anything further, I seriously doubt there will be one this year. It seemed to be a great success, so I would guess it will happen again in 2017. The main organizer is Jameel from Benchcrafted. Again, there has been zero publicity for Handworks in 2016, so I would not put much stock in one this year. Re: Handworks 2016 - Mike Brady - 04-02-2016 I agree Joe. The event would be just six weeks from now and there has been no indication of it for this year or any future date, for that matter. Re: Handworks 2016 - djb10 - 04-02-2016 That was the date of last years show. They might not have updated their website. Re: Handworks 2016 - Mike Brady - 04-02-2016 Perhaps its still 2015 in Cedar Rapids, Ia? ![]() (I can say that because I'm from an even smaller town in Iowa, and I'm probably a decade behind, at least.) Re: Handworks 2016 - Morty847 - 04-02-2016 The Studley exhibit was in Cedar Rapids last year. Sounds like they didn't fully update their calendar. It's Iowa ![]() Re: Handworks 2016 - Rob Young - 04-19-2016 Mike Brady said: Official website is : http://handworks.co/ Still lists 2015 date. And some of the copy on the cedar-rapids tourism web site is from the official website. Handworks is done in odd numbered years. Watch this blog : http://benchcrafted.blogspot.com/ for up-to-date information. Re: Handworks 2016 - Mike Brady - 04-19-2016 Rob, did you notice the search terms that I entered in that web page? It was for July 4th, 2016, under "family events". No results. ![]() |
