HANDTOOLS: Stanley, Millers Falls, Witherby, Nice stuff........ - Admiral - 06-30-2016 Got a bunch of very worthy tools to post up, plus a couple of bargains.... First up is a Sweetheart vintage Type 13 ('25-'28) #5 1/4, very desirable type, metal all 100%, rosewood tote and knob in great condition, good sole and mouth, 95% jappanning, all original and correct for type, you don't find many of this very desirable vintage in this condition, not used in a school, original SW logo iron; very nice plane, yours for $45 plus shipping, pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Next are two General No. 800 plumb bobs, hefty 10 oz size, yours for $9 each plus shipping, excellent condition: ![]() Next is an Eclipse knockoff honing jig, one of the most useful and simple out there, yours for $5 with any other purchase, a bargain.... ![]() Next up is a Stanley 9 1/4 block, the original apron plane, this one is in great shape, 98% japanning, good sole and mouth, plenty of iron, a great working plane in good condition, yours for $18 plus shipping, another bargain..... pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Next is a Millers Falls No. 2 eggbeater, perhaps the best hand drill design in production, double gearing, operates smoothly, chuck works like it should, handle solid, and has the oft-absent chef's hat side handle, bit storage in the screw off handle, great drill, yours for $30 plus shipping, pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() Next up are some great vintage chisels, good makers, and in narrow widths, left to right in pics: Whitherby 3/8, Whitherby 1/4, Whitherby 1/8, PS&W 1/4, a "Pine Knot" 1/8 and an unmarked, but vintage 1/8 tang (handle missing ferrule, but solidly seated). All in good condition, and good lengths, some great lengths, and are in the harder to find smaller sizes which don't come up for sale very often, very useful for many purposes in the shop, take your pick for the bargain price of $15 each plus shipping, pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() Next is a woodie toothing plane, the body is in good condition, no cracks, solid, good sole; iron is marked "Ott", see pic for logo, I'm not familiar with it but clearly european, iron usable, but note on one side there is pitting about 1/4" in from one side, but balance is useable, and part of the wedge is missing, but priced accordingly at $18 plus shipping for a user, pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last, but not least by a long shot, are three 1" bevel edge chisels, from left to right in the pics, a Winchester, a Stanley "750 Style" and an older embossed Stanley "750 style" chisel.
