I haven't been turning much lately for a lot of reasons. Had some minor(ish) surgery a couple days ago. Surgeon wants me to walk every day. Started walking a block or so, and am adding every day. Yesterday I discovered a bradford pear on the side of the road near my house. A couple of pretty good sized pieces. No way I could lift any to take home, even if I was turning right now.
Best I could do was call a friend who turns. Don't know if he will want it or have time to come by and get it.
Bradford pear makes good turning material.

I hope and pray you are getting better soon and does not happen again.
I have heard good things about bradford pear and hope to someday use a good piece of it.
