I do see page numbers and multiple pages for the Delta thread linked above, so it appears threads are displaying differently.

I can see your bump on the first tread. I can even quote it here. I didn't try the second thread. I have my posts per page set at 200. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Yep, see the last post on the second thread, too. But the whole thread is displayed as single page as is the first thread.

RE: Errors - oscarMadison - 07-20-2016

maybe I'm doing something wrong, but on my subscriptions I select Subscribe and receive email notifications of new replies but don't get an email.  I did it as a test on this thread yesterday, there have been replies and this morning still no email messages.  It does show up in my subscription list.  In this post I just marked it again.

misspoke on one issue. This thread was not showing up, but I did subscribe last night, after resubscribing it is showing up. I also subscribed to the "it sucks" thread which has a new post. No emails for it either

RE: Errors - Mr_Mike - 07-20-2016

Subscription notifications don't seem to work. Don't know why.

(07-19-2016, 09:33 PM)skizzo Wrote: That's right.  I fiddled with a bunch of different things last night and this morning, both on the Mac and on the iPad.  I kept trying to change a checkbox to disable mobile mode, but that wasn't doing anything.  Then Mike found the setting in the Other Options that was on GoMobile or something like that.  The instant that I changed it to Default on the MacBook, all the screen displays appeared that were supposed to be here.  I then made sure the setting was still intact on my mobile devices, and it's been fine since.  I did have to click "Clear Cookies" at one point to refresh everything to the most current settings.

Thanks guys.  That solved that problem.
Now if I could just get the other settings to hold.  They seem to keep reverting back to whatever they were when I first logged in Monday night.  I get everything set up and working and then when I log out and log back in it is all whacked again.  I changed the settings from my PC at work and when I got home and tried from my iPad it was all whacked again.  Had to change all the settings again.
So far this morning everything is fine.

Dave, delete your cookies on all machines. It can't hurt. The options menu has a link.

RE: Errors - Wild Turkey - 07-20-2016

(07-19-2016, 03:25 PM)You fixed it!! Many thanks. Wild Turkey Wrote: Big Grin I'm still "Wild Turkey73"

My old data showed up on a post I'd made, but I still log in as "73" with the new data.

I think the problem is both versions use the same email and the software only uses the most recent.

Is there anything I need to do, or is it something you'll have to take care of?

RE: Errors - EricU - 07-20-2016

the main page in one of my threads in home improvement says I made the last post, but I don't see it, and there is no next page.
This thread:

curious if I'm moderated or something.

and I managed to log in after I used the contact form.  Sorry about that

RE: Errors - Mr_Mike - 07-20-2016

Eric, There is someting goofy that needs work related to not being about to see past page 1 of threads. There are no icons to go to next page on many threads.

Temporarily, you can go into your control panel options and set the forum to display 200 posts. Then, as long as the thread is shorter than 200 posts, you can see everything.

Some threads work, some don't. Give admin time to correct.

Oddly enough, this particular thread does have page icons. Smile

RE: Errors - sysadmin - 07-21-2016

Threads and posts marked as "political" can now be hidden. When you start a political thread, set the thread prefix as "Politics." The thread prefix is located to the left of the subject input field. When you write a political post, select the dome post icon. It's the 12th from the left. When these icons are applied to threads and posts, users who have opted out of political content will not be able to see them. To opt out of seeing political content, go to your User CP > left sidebar > Your Profile section > Edit Options > Other Options box, and uncheck "Show Political Content."

There is no check box in my UserCP for this. I've been trying to figure out why I can no longer see any of my own posts, and this might be related.

Without changing anything in my UserCP, all of my posts vanished, but other users are able to see them. I can see them only if I view them in Threaded Mode.
