RE: Errors - Mr_Mike - 07-19-2016

Dave, I have your solution. Go into settings and change your theme to "default" instead of "gomobile". This is what Bill and I figured out. We did forget to communicate the solution.

That's right.  I fiddled with a bunch of different things last night and this morning, both on the Mac and on the iPad.  I kept trying to change a checkbox to disable mobile mode, but that wasn't doing anything.  Then Mike found the setting in the Other Options that was on GoMobile or something like that.  The instant that I changed it to Default on the MacBook, all the screen displays appeared that were supposed to be here.  I then made sure the setting was still intact on my mobile devices, and it's been fine since.  I did have to click "Clear Cookies" at one point to refresh everything to the most current settings.

Ok so I figured out why I can't see the pics.  Simple fix.  In the User Control Panel make sure "Display images in posts" is checked.

also look at the threads by Skizzo, Restoring an Old Drill Press and Restoring an Old Electrical Motor, they are huge and the system will only display 50 posts.

I just went back and looked at the two restoration threads and still don't see any pagination buttons to access any posts beyond the first page.  Some threads show page numbers at the top of the screen, some threads don't -- although they are known to have many more pages.  Are others still noticing the same thing, or is it likely a setting on my end?

I now see 53 articles in that thread and 2 pages with my options set for 30 articles per page.

RE: Errors - Scouter - 07-20-2016

For some reason, when I go into the thread below I am not seeing any of the replies, only the post itself and the quick reply box. So far this is the only thread that has happened with.

Okay, more is better when finding a problem, here is second one:

Font sizes for a lot of the pages is so tiny, especially links and navigation tabs.   I've noticed this with a lot of new software upgrades.

Here are links to the two big restoration threads, where I can only see the first page of posts.  I have replied to both today, but don't see the pages at the end for those replies.  Can anyone else see multiple pages, or some way to get to the end of the thread?

I do see page numbers and multiple pages for the Delta thread linked above, so it appears threads are displaying differently.

Scouter:  Seems to be working fine for me.  You don't have Threaded versus linear view turned on by any chance?  IF so, you would see the same behavior on all threads.

Bill:  I see what you see.  In certain forums it seems to be repaired.  Others, not so.  The basement is fine from what I can see.  I think Woodworking is fine to.  Look for a long thread there and see what you can see.
