Benjamin Moore Water Based Lacquer vs. Target EM6000? - therick34 - 07-24-2016
Quick question for those who have used water based lacquer products.
I've used about 10 gallons of Target EM6000 in semi-gloss over the last year or so and have liked it pretty well, aside from paying shipping and waiting for it to arrive. I've also shot about five gallons of EM6500 and like that, too, but while I was getting some more 6500 tinted this weekend at Benjamin Moore, the salesman mentioned that they also have a clear water based lacquer that is comparable to 6000 along with a product comparable to 6500. Not sure of the exact line he mentioned, but I did find out that the 6000 competitor is about $30 per gallon and I could buy it locally.
So, anybody shoot the BM lacquer products? Happy with it? Better/worse than Target products?
