Looking for Stanley handle - digger - 07-26-2016

Hi,
I posted this on the hand tool forum, someone suggested i should post it here.
Looking for a "new" handle for my Stanley #4. I screwed up the one I was trying to refinish. Might also
consider a knob if the price was right. The screw on mine seems way to proud.

Thanks

It looks fixable to me. PM sent...

To fix the knob screw being proud, just judiciously grind down the threaded rod a little bit, might take two grindings as you can't replace what you grind off so take a little at a time, that will take care of that issue.

This little trick is a great way to fix a loose tote also.  Works like a charm.

Here is an option in case you cannot find an original tote. Nicobie is a regular poster on WoodNet.
