Carvewright library - TucsonLawrence - 08-04-2016 Though I'm not using a Carvewright any more (I have stepped up to more "standard" CNC and am quite happy I did so) I still follow their blogs and forum as I still learn there and have friends on the forum and recently ran across this blog of a library that the folks at LHR made (I'm pretty sure it was Joe Lovchik the marketing director) http://www.carvewright.com/the-library-carvewright-built/ It's pretty darned incredible- they really used the capabilities of this little machine well and I thought folks here would enjoy seeing it too Lawrence RE: Carvewright library - PaulJohnstone - 08-05-2016 That is pretty impressive. Some nice ideas for software and free 3D images too, obviously one could do this on a regular CNC as well. RE: Carvewright library - Scoony - 08-05-2016 Wow, Incredible. I hope to dive into the CNC world before the new year. I have several ideas on stuff I want to make. That rotary jig for the Carvewright looks cool. RE: Carvewright library - Window Guy - 08-08-2016 Wow that Library is spectacular, such beautiful craftsmanship. I am more of a Hand Tool Guy now a days myself but have a friend who has one and makes some incredible signs and whatnot with it. He also builds furniture and custom stair cases. Steve |
