New LV 12 in one marking multi-tool - Mark A Smith - 09-04-2016 This looks like it would be a nice extra tool to have around when you need a second bevel gauge, another T-square, a small compass, or any of a number of other marking and measuring tools. It is a faithful copy of the original. It isn't replacement for any dedicated layout tool. I'm not so sure it's any less accurate than a sliding bevel, though. There are grooves in the lower rule that fix the upper rule at a 90 deg angle. It's kind of cool looking. If Woodpeckers offered the same tool, it would cost 3-4x as much, so it's a bargain! Yabbut, if Woodpeckers offered it, it would be red - worth every extra penny! |
