New LV 12 in one marking multi-tool - Mark A Smith - 09-04-2016

This looks like it would be a nice extra tool to have around when you need a second bevel gauge, another T-square, a small compass, or any of a number of other marking and measuring tools.

If you like having extra tools lying around, this is one.  It is a faithful copy of the original.  It isn't replacement for any dedicated layout tool.

Which is exactly what Lee Valley says. I'm not so sure it's any less accurate than a sliding bevel, though.  There are grooves in the lower rule that fix the upper rule at a 90 deg angle.  It's kind of cool looking.  If Woodpeckers offered the same tool, it would cost 3-4x as much, so it's a bargain!

Yabbut, if Woodpeckers offered it, it would be red - worth every extra penny!
