I spent most of July sweating in my workshop because this little vise needed a new lease on life. You can view the saga upstairs at your leisure, but here is the real thing. It is a Columbian 6-CD wood vise that is made of robust castings and forgings not stampings. I added a new handle and oversized hickory jaws. It is the perfect piece of eye candy for that new bench you are making. The color looks a bit orange in the photo but up close you will see that it is a very sexy Fire Engine Red.
