Source for Clock Dials with Custom Text/Typesetting - Ron Brese - 09-15-2016

When I was a full time furniture maker I made several clocks. At that time there was a company in Marietta Ga. where I purchased clock dials with custom Typesetting.

I've made some clocks recently and found that the source for those dial no longer exist. That being the case I decided to set up for making these dials and have just launched this as a new product offering from "Brese Plane". Below is a link to my blog that includes the initial offering.

Those look great Ron. I hope to make some clocks in the future so I'm glad to have the resource.

Nice! I've clipped your message for future reference.

Great idea Ron. I'm looking for someone who can take that artwork and etch it on copper, preferably planished (hand-hammered) copper.  If you check with Megan from Pop Wood, or even Chris Schwarz, the magazine once did a Stickley clock with a custom paper face that I think was done by someone in Cincy.  The process I'm looking for is taking that clock face and photo etching onto the copper.

Mike that would certainly make for a nice dial for an Art and Crafts style clock. The hammered copper is a very nice look.
