Dimmer Switch - Gibbcutter - 10-10-2016
Need a dimmer switch for 6 highhats. What capacity wattage do I need? Any recommended brand?

Add up the wattage (actual, not 'equivalent') of all six lights, and that's the minimum you need. Use the largest wattage value anticipated for each, and leave some extra in case you upsize one or more in the future.
If they're CFL or LED, make sure the dimmer is CFL or LED compatible. It will say so on the packaging.
